Engaging in the cherished tradition of making lei gives me a profound sense of connection and serenity. It truly is a labor of love, weaving together nature's beauty and my passion. I especially love stringing crown flowers (pua kalaunu). There are always butterflies and honey bees dancing around when you go out to gather crown flowers, and that magical pop when picking a bud never gets old for me! It’s just another reason this unique flower is one of my favorites.
